We collect only what we need to help you, we do not sell it, and we do not hand it to anyone for marketing.

We collect only what we need to help you or to work with you, we do not sell it, and we do not hand it to anyone for marketing. If you ever want to know what we have about you, ask and we will tell you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We also do not use your information to market real estate services, and no one working with us may use a job to solicit you. If that ever happens, tell us directly and we will handle it.
Only in these situations:
We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people actually read, and see how many people go on to ask for help, volunteer, or give. That is how we tell whether this site is doing its job, and tracking it is a requirement of the free advertising program Google offers nonprofits.
We have configured it in the narrowest way it allows:
That last point is why there is no cookie banner on this site. Rather than ask you to dismiss a popup, we just do not track anyone whose browser says not to. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser settings, and everything here works exactly the same either way.
Google's own handling of what it receives is described in their privacy policy.
A few supporters have their own short link to this site, so we can tell how much good a particular person is doing by talking about us. If you arrived through one, your browser remembers which link you came from for 90 days, and if you go on to submit a form we record that supporter's name alongside it.
Two things about that are worth saying plainly. We count visits, not visitors. The click record holds the supporter's code, the page, and the time, and nothing that identifies you. And nobody is paid for referring you. No supporter earns a fee, a commission, or a share of anything you give. They get told how many people they helped reach, and that is all they get.
The supporter never sees what you tell us. Your request, your contact details, and anything about your household stay with us and the people doing the work.
If you give us your phone number and agree to be texted, we may send you messages about your request: scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your request; we will simply reach you another way. Full details are in our terms.
We keep records of the work we do as long as we need them for our nonprofit reporting obligations, and no longer than necessary. If you want your information deleted, ask us and we will delete what we are not legally required to keep.
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Questions, requests, or concerns about your information go to hello@neighborhoodcrew.org, or write to us at 3180 University Ave #210, San Diego, CA 92104.
